Position Overview: Western State Hospital is seeking a part
time/wage Housekeeping Worker who will provide a safe, sanitary,
and attractive environment for patients, staff, and visitors at
Western State Hospital. The Housekeeping Worker will ensure that
bathrooms and shower rooms are cleaned daily; replenish paper
products; ensure all trash removed daily; clean mirrors; ensure
floors are mopped daily; ensure walls and ceilings are cleaned as
needed; clean windows, doors, fixtures cleaned as needed; and dush
mop and wet mop floors daily. This position will also check rooms
daily; perform cleaning tasks as needed with a thorough cleaning
weekly; remove trash; wipe down tables and chairs; clean windows,
doors, walls; dust mop and wet mop daily; buff weekly; and
finishing floors as needed. Key Responsibilities: - Ensure
bathrooms & shower rooms are cleaned daily - Replenish paper
products - Ensure trash removed daily - Ensure floors are mopped
daily - Windows, doors, fixtures cleaned as needed - Wipe down
tables and chairs - Finishing floors as needed Minimum
Qualifications - General knowledge in cleaning bathrooms, bedrooms,
dayrooms, floor finishing, and cleaning/operating housekeeping
equipment - General skills in cleaning bathrooms, bedrooms,
dayrooms, floor finishing, and cleaning/operating housekeeping
equipment - Read, write, perform basic math calculations, lift
heavy objects, prolonged standing, walking on various surfaces,
climb ladders, work on knees and work in various conditions
Additional Considerations - High school graduate or equivalent -
Experience in housekeeping - Valid Operator’s License - Bilingual -
