Job Description Job Description Position: Traveling Part-Time Optometrist Location: Wilkes-Barre, Kulpmont, Minersville, and Lewistown, PA Schedule: 4-5 days per month (Weekdays) Compensation: $800 per visit & mileage reimbursement Position Type: Independent Contractor (1099) About The Opportunity Comprehensive Mobile Care (CMC) is seeking a Part-Time Optometrist (OD) to provide care at four outpatient clinics in Wilkes-Barre, Kulpmont, Minersville, and Lewistown, PA. This is a clinic-based role where you'll function as an extension of the clinical team within a coordinated, community-focused setting serving senior populations. Clinic staff are on-site full time Organized scheduling and patient flow Coordinated, team-based care environment Value-based model focused on seniors We manage equipment, supplies, scheduling, billing and logistics — allowing you to focus entirely on delivering high-quality vision care. What You'll Do Perform comprehensive eye exams and vision assessments Diagnose and manage common ocular conditions within your scope of practice Prescribe corrective lenses and provide appropriate treatment recommendations Collaborate with clinic staff as part of an integrated care team Deliver patient-centered care in a structured outpatient setting What Makes This Different This is not a high-volume retail model.
