ResponsibilitiesProgram Overview:The Advanced Research Projects

Description:As an ARPA-H Advanced Cloud Architect for the Strategic
Technical ARPA-H Talent Support (STATS) Program at Noblis, you will
be part of our HealthSolutions team, leveraging your expertise in
computer science or related scientific fields for R&D programs
supporting Federal PMs and ARPA-H leaders to deliver transformative
health solutions for the nation. You will design, implement, and
manage cloud-based infrastructure to enable organizations to
benefit from cloud computing, using your skills in cloud platforms,
infrastructure as code, automation, and scalability to create
resilient, secure, and cost-effective solutions.Responsibilities
include:
- Planning and developing R&D projects addressing complex
problems with significant impact
- Evaluating technical approaches and reviewing health research
reports
- Developing scientific capability strategies and monitoring
project performance
- Developing testing methodologies and assessing scientific
solutions' efficacy and safety
- Creating program status reports, briefings, and maintaining
R&D repositories
- Organizing meetings, communicating findings, and supporting
program management
- Supporting technology transitions and healthcare technology
assessments
- Providing expertise on AI/ML, proactively managing risks, and
responding to data calls
- Managing internal leadership and mentoring teammates
- Contributing to business development effortsRequired
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in engineering or related scientific field
- At least 10 years of experience in scientific or engineering
roles
- Experience in developing and refining cloud strategies aligned
with agency missions
- Ability to design scalable, resilient, and secure cloud
architecturesDesired Qualifications include experience with
government research organizations, cloud-native technologies,
published research, and strong collaboration skills. Experience
supporting federal agency program managers and working with
