Fresh Baguette is looking for a talented and dynamic Assistant Maintenance Manager to join our team.
The Assistant Maintenance Manager supports the Maintenance Executive Manager in ensuring the preventive and corrective maintenance, as well as the setup of new equipment at all Fresh Baguette locations. This role involves assisting in managing a team of technicians and coordinating maintenance activities to ensure minimal service interruptions, operational excellence, and adherence to safety standards. The Assistant Maintenance Manager must work on the field with technicians to ensure hands-on support and guidance. Additionally, this role requires the ability to build a positive team spirit and to contribute to the development and moral of the technicians though skill building initiatives.
Responsibilities:

• Exemplify the standards and behaviors that align with the core values and culture of Fresh Baguette.
• Assist the Maintenance Executive Manager in planning regular preventive maintenance on bakery machines and equipment to extend the lifespan of assets.
• Prioritize corrective maintenance according to the emergency level.
• Support the diagnosis, repair, or replacement of worn parts when appropriate.
• Aid in solving technical issues at various Fresh Baguette locations, focusing on reducing service interruptions.
• Coordinate with other Fresh Baguette departments to set priorities for maintenance tasks.
• Ensure that safety standards, including food safety, are maintained during maintenance activities.
• Assist in planning and supervising the activities of external technicians or subcontractors.
• May be required to assist external technicians/subcontractors directly.
• Support the preparation of the budget for maintenance activities.
• Assist in spare parts procurement and spare parts inventory management.
• Maintain proper records of work activities, including all procurement and maintenance costs.
• Utilize CMMS Limble to track maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment history.
• Submit reports on work activities to the Maintenance Executive Manager.
• Work on the field with technicians to provide hands-on support and guidance.
• Build team spirit and enhance the skills and morale of the technicians.Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
  • Bachelor"s degree in Industrial Maintenance Technology, or a similar field is preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial maintenance.
  • A minimum of 2 year of managerial or supervisory experience.
  • Good understanding of the technical features of mechanical, industrial electricity, HVAC systems, boiler---
  • Strong knowledge of facilities, machines, and equipment.
  • Excellent organizational and leadership abilities.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High level of availability.
  • OSHA training is a plus
  • CFC EPA 608 universalWorking hours:This dynamic role implies flexible working hours, including weekends. A high availability is a must. This position requires a commitment to ensuring that all maintenance needs are met promptly, regardless the time or day.The primary working hours are from 1:30 PM to 11:00 PM, Monday through Friday.The maintenance manager is on duty every other weekend, in coordination with the maintenance executive manager.

    Salary:$55,000-$65,000/year + $1,000 bonus (250$//quarter) + $300/month stipend for on-duty weekend
