JOB DESCRIPTION SOX Compliance Consultant SUMMARYThe SOX Compliance Consultant will support the Company comply with requirements of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act by designing, implementing and auditing business unit adherence to policies, procedures and best practices to maintain effective Internal Controls Over Financial Reporting ("ICFR"). ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESThese duties are not meant to be all-inclusive and other duties may be assigned.

• Assist the organization comply with the Sarbanes-Oxley requirements using the guidelines outlined in COSO 2013 Internal Controls - Integrated Framework Principles
• Support business units in developing and implement policies, procedures, and best practices to maintain effective Internal Controls over Financial Reporting ("ICFR")
• Research and prepare accounting position papers to assist business units comply with US GAAP
• Perform test of controls by executing audit programs to assess business unit compliance with company policies, procedures, and best practices
• Perform data analysis to identify anomalies and research root causes for outliers
• Prepare and issue audit reports summarizing audit findings and corrective action plans
• Communicate and monitor implementation of corrective actions to address audit findings BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
  • Four (4) or more years of related experience in accounting, finance, or auditing.
  • Ability to travel 10%.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suites: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
    • Familiarity with U.S. and international accounting regulations.
