Position Description:Our team is growing!Ryder is hiring for an Inventory Clerk in Hagerstown, MD! The Inventory Clerk I is responsible for conducting cycle counts and audits, assisting in researching and reconciling inventory discrepancies and assisting the Inventory Supervisor in any inventory related functions. About the position:

• Consistent pay: $22.50/hour (Includes shift differential)
• Schedule: Monday - Friday, 3:30 pm - 12:00 am (Midnight) *Subject to Change*
• Requirements:

• Previous Warehouse Experience required
• Previous Inventory Experience in a Warehouse (6+ months)
• Experience with WMS - Scale Preferred
• Proficient using Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook

    • High School diploma or equivalent
    • One (1) year or more previous warehouse experience
    • Ability to
      • Create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization (peers, work groups, customers, supervisors)
      • Manage multiple assignments and tasks, set priorities, and adapt to changing conditions and work assignments
      • Recognize and read location, date and product codes
      • Work independently and as a member of a team
      • Strong verbal and written communication skills
      • Flexibility to operate and self-driven to excel in a fast-paced environment
      • Basic arithmetic skills (addition, subtraction, division and multiplication) (beginner level)
      • Depending on location may be required to be equipment certified
      • Safety Sensitive Position, Non-Regulated Tech - Depending on location, may be required to operate and be equipment certifiedResponsibilities:
        • Conduct cycle counts and inventory audits
        • Conduct audits of inbound and outbound shipments
        • Participate in physical inventories as necessary
        • Provide floor support to Operation Supervisors and hourly associates regarding inventory issues
        • Resolve inventory discrepancies as needed
        • Maintain Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) with emphasis on safety
        • Ensure inventory accuracy to meet client demands
