The Main Responsibilities

  • The Program Control Consultant II (PCC II) will be responsible for monitoring cost, reporting and completing financial deliverables and performing various types of cost and revenue analyses.
  • The PCC II will support the program team in the planning, tracking, analyzing, forecasting, and reporting of all program related costs with an added emphasis of the tracking of the procurement of corporate capital and expense equipment. Activities will include monthly cost and variance reporting, performing Estimates to Completion (ETC), Estimates at Completion (EACs), documenting corporate revenue earned and expense equipment to be deferred and other required internal and external reporting.
  • The PCC II will support Basis of Estimates (BOEs) development, work authorization and billing processes. Activities will include subcontractor cost management and accruals, preparation of integrated reporting, monitoring of non-billable expenses and implementation of corrective actions when discrepancies are discovered.
  • The PCC II will also be responsible for revenue and cost forecasting and variance analysisreporting. This position involves significant interaction with the Program Management Team, Corporate Finance, Contracts, Procurement, Senior Technical personnel, and various other functional or support organizations.
  • The PCC II will work with minimal supervision under a PCC III while contributing to the team through reporting (both written and verbal), analysis, estimating, and auditing.What We Look For in a Candidate
    • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or a related discipline, and a minimum of 5 years related experience.
    • Required Skills Must have a basic knowledge of the government contracting field and possess the ability to complete difficult assignments with an emphasis on problem solving.
    • Must be able effectively manage assigned program control work on large complex projects.
    • Experience in analyzing problems to determine root cause and implementation of corrective actions is required.
    • Accurate written and verbal communication skills are needed in order to carry out and understand assignment and to convey or exchange routine information.
    • The successful candidate must have the ability to work as a key member of a team with minimal supervision.
    • Experience and understanding of GAAP principles, Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Cost Accounting Standards (CAS), and Federal Travel Regulations (FTR) are required.
    • Must possess a strong background working with multiple contract types Firm Fixed Price (FFP), Fixed Price Incentive (FPI), Fixed Price Level of Effort (FPLOE), Time and Materials (T&M), Cost Plus Award Fee (CPAF), Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF), and hybrid contracts.
    • Strong Microsoft Excel skills are required.
