Your Role and Responsibilities
As a Functional Architect (FA), you will lead design system and process solutions for PeopleSoft HCM to improve the HR LOB offering for all agencies. The FA is responsible for leading the entire project lifecycle including overseeing requirements gathering, design, and testing of change request and quality reviews, estimating LOEs for each new enhancement, leading sales efforts, overseeing help desk operations and training efforts, and approving all functional design and implementations. Additionally, the FA will coordinate across the technical, functional, and operational architectures to define solutions and build roadmaps at a strategic level.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • At least 15 years of experience working with PeopleSoft HCM for Federal customers
  • At least 15 years of experience with HC Shared Services
  • At least 15 years of experience supporting federal HC process improvement initiatives in various parts of the HR life cycle for several different federal agencies
  • At least 15 years of experience with excellent customer relationship management skills including effective oral and written communications
  • At least 15 years of experience with strong analytical skills; ability to research issues and provide solutions
  • At least 15 years of experience with engaging with client stakeholders and customers to determine appropriate process improvements
  • At least 15 years of experience with capacity and willingness to learn complex business rules and apply them to system processes and support
  • Security Clearance: MBI- United States Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
    • At least 10 years of experience with HC Transformation work that is the result of performance management and/or benchmarking initiatives
    • At least 10 years of experience with Merit System Principles
    • At least 10 years of experience with developing business cases and multi-year strategic improvement road maps

      The compensation range and benefits for this position are based on a full-time schedule for a full calendar year. The salary will vary depending on your job-related skills, experience and location. Pay increment and frequency of pay will be in accordance with employment classification and applicable laws. For part time roles, your compensation and benefits will be adjusted to reflect your hours. Benefits may be pro-rated for those who start working during the calendar year.
