Location/Division Specific Information
Middletown, VA
Shift:
How will you make an impact?
The Middletown site manufactures in vitro diagnostic reagents,
controls and calibrators, which are used in conjunction with
clinical diagnostic?instrumentation.
What will you do?
* Operate mechanical equipment (tow motor, walking riders, order
pickers, etc.) in a safe manner in accordance with company and
regulatory requirements.
* Follow established policies and procedures, such as scrap
process, cycle counting, and receiving process.
* Utilize various inventory control systems (SAP, DR, etc.)
* Receive, verify, and store incoming raw materials and
deliveries.
* Pick and stage raw materials to specified production areas using
a pick slip or other type of material movement document.
* Deliver non-production items to appropriate parties throughout
the facility.
* Verify quantities and transfer released finished goods from
production to distribution. Store and transfer Retains (finished
goods awaiting additional review) as needed.
* Able to identify and utilize proper established work instructions
for shipping finished goods. Pick and pack products for shipment as
determined by work instructions and pick slip or other type of
finished good movement document.
* Prepare and coordinate shipments (domestic, import, and export)
using established carrier systems and established customer
requirements, including paperwork preparation.
* Ensure inventory accuracy by following established processes and
procedures.
* Maintain equipment and storage areas as prescribed in a neat and
clean manner to meet housekeeping standards.
* Perform all duties in a safe manner and comply with all
corporate, site, and government guidelines (SOP, GMP Procedures,
etc.)
* Perform other duties as assigned.
How will you get here?
High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
Experience
Minimum of 6 months experience required.
Experience in a manufacturing and/or distribution preferred.
Experience in inventory control systems (ex. SAP or other ERP)
preferred.
