We are looking for experienced Class A Tractor Trailer drivers to add to our team of Local Home Daily Drivers in Laurel and surrounding areas. EVO Transportation offers essential employment opportunities with set schedules and up to date equipment. Our commitment to driver safety is supported through on-board safety cameras and electronic logs. Drivers will run local and be home daily. Drop and hook (no touch freight). Or must be capable of loading and unloading mail carts (Pushing and Pulling up to 50lbs) Several shifts available. Running 10-12 hours per day (50-60 per week) US Mail Schedules (Location/Laurel and Capitol Heights) Monday-Saturday 22:00 Start Time Monday-Saturday 23:00-05:30 Monday-Saturday 22:00-06:00 PT Friday/Saturday/Sunday Hourly pay is $23.92-$28.34 in addition to $5.06 pay in Benefit Pay (paid up to 40 hours per week) Benefit Pay is used to offset monthly health insurance premiums. If you do not take company insurance & provide proof of other sufficient coverage, the Benefit pay will be added to your wages. ***Part-Time Positions Available Weekends and Weekdays- Earn Some Extra Money For The Holiday Season Drivers will run local and be home daily. Drop and hook (no touch freight). Several shifts available. Running 10-12 hours per day (50-60 per week) Freight Schedules (Location/Laurel): Monday-Friday start times dispatching between 03:00 and 06:00 Monday-Friday start times dispatching between 04:00 and 07:00 Monday-Friday start times dispatching between 05:00 and 08:00 Weekend Hours Available if desired $24.00 per hour $500 Sign-on Bonus ***Part-Time Positions Available Weekends and Weekdays- Earn Some Extra Money For The Holiday Season Jockey position performing 15-20 moves a shift in combination with short local shuttle runs. Driver will operate a tractor requiring them to manually crank landing gear handles with arms, legs and back. Jockey and Shuttle Schedules (Location: Hunt Valley/Aberdeen/Belcamp): Monday-Friday 06:00-14:00 Monday-Friday 14:00-22:00 Sunday-Thursday 22:00-06:00 Up to $26.75 per hour ***Part-Time Positions Available Weekends and Weekdays- Earn Some Extra Money For The Holiday Season Minimum Requirements: Class A CDL 2 Years' Experience (must be able to operate a manual transmission) Clean Drug Screen and Clearinghouse Screening Driving Record and PSP Must be able to operate electronic logging device and tablet to log moves Physical Requirements: Driver should be able to climb in and out of a truck with three steps pulling their own weight using three points of contact Driver should be able to bend over and maneuver under a trailer to visibly inspect the trailer pin lock connection to the power units fifth wheel.
