Reference # : 21-00607 Title : Analyst- Javascript & Web Development Location : Ashburn, VA Position Type : Contract Experience Level : Start Date / End Date : 04/05/2021 / 04/04/2022 Description WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR Strong technical knowledge and programming skills BS in Data Science/Computer Science/Information Technology (or a related degree) or 4 years of full time work experience in a similar field Minimum 3 years of experience in: Javascript (Jquery, chart.js, etc...) with Bootstrap 4 Server Management (Linux, Red Hat, etc...) Python Programming (Pandas, Matplotlib, Flask, etc.) Database Management (MySQL, Oracle, MS SQL, etc.) Data Science Experience with GIT Experience with JIRA ticketing or other ticketing system Experience working in an iterative development environment Minimum 2 years of experience creating data visualizations (Portfolio with examples of visualizations preferred) Tableau Js Charting Splunk Python Matplotlib or other library Other visualization technologies Excellent knowledge of PC and software applications including MS Office Suite, GSuite technologies, Visual Studio Code, MySQL Workbench, and Slack Ability to absorb information and learn quickly WHAT WE WOULD PREFER MS in Data Science or a related field Experience with Local and Long-Haul Telecommunications networks Strong organizational skills and demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities to their successful completion Experience with front-end web development technologies Excellent verbal and written skills for communicating between all business partners Experience making independent decisions based on policies, best practices, and project requirements WHAT YOU?LL BE DOING A successful candidate for this position will spend their days working with their business partners to create innovative solutions to meet their business needs. Their visualizations will provide meaningful insights into the business to give management the tools they need to make intelligent and informed decisions.
