Aston Carter is searching for qualified candidates to fill 12 Mortgage Closer positions with a Fortune 100 Financial Institution in the Winchester, VA area to start in April! This position is NOT remote and requires that all candidates be located in a commutable distance to the Winchester, VA area. This position will be hybrid, requiring all candidates to work in office each week. Training hours are Monday-Friday between 8am-5:30pm for the first 4-5 weeks After training, the schedule will be Monday-Friday, must be open to either shift 9:30am-6:00pm OR 10:30am-7:00pm Job Description:

• To close first mortgage loans in accordance with applicable federal/state laws as well as the credit unions' policies and procedures. Prepare mortgage packages for delivery to settlement companies for purposes of closing on conventional, Veteran's Administration (VA) and Federal Housing Administration (FHA) mortgage products. To coordinate the closing and funding of assigned loan packages. Requirements:
  • 2-3 years recent mortgage, banking, financial, or legal experience
  • Strong administrative skills with an attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask working with a pipeline of loans
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Excel and strong data entry skills
  • Must be able to work independently in a fast paced, deadline driven, and high production environment
