Senior database administrator support while being able to configure
system platforms. Experience includes, but not limited to database
administration (eight plus (8+) years hands on), development, data
migrations, query and report generation, continuous monitoring,
crash recovery, backups, rolling upgrades, troubleshooting, and
system security controls. - Devise or modify procedures to solve
business problems using best practice IT techniques, keeping in
mind the capacity and limitations of the hardware/software, system
response time, and form of desired results- Provide technical
database assistance to developers, vendors, and end-users.- Perform
quality assurance testing and facilitate user acceptance testing as
needed prior to implementing changes into the database production
environment- Think analytically to utilize a functional
understanding of the various components of systems in conjunction
with technical knowledge to identify effective and efficient
problem resolutions- Work well both individually and in a team
environment with minimal supervision where knowledge sharing is
highly regarded and expected- Multitask effectively and manage
dynamic deadlines based on relative priorities- Demonstrate strong
interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate complex topics
effectively, both verbally and in writing with above-average
documentation abilities- Provide analysis, resolution, and open
communication surrounding issues that arise during and following a
production deployment.RequirementsQualifications- Top Secret
security clearance with Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI)
eligibility, based on a fully - adjudicated Single Scope Background
Investigation (SSBI) or Periodic Reinvestigation (PR) that was
completed or initiated within the last five (5) years - Bachelor's
Degree or equivalent experience- Experience/Support Oracle Database
Applications (ODA)- Experience/Support Oracle Linux- Working
Knowledge with LINUX Red Hat 6 and higher- Working Knowledge with
Microsoft Desktop Productivity Suite 2013 or higher- Working
Knowledge with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Azure Cloud
AdministrationPersonnel have hands-on experience with, but not
limited to, the following:- Certified Oracle Database
Administrator- Expertise Knowledge in Oracle 12c or higher-
Expertise Knowledge in Oracle Real Application Clusters (RAC) -
Expertise Knowledge in Oracle Enterprise Manager 13 or higher-
Expertise Knowledge in Clusterware- Expertise Knowledge in Cluster
Health Monitoring- Expertise Knowledge in Microsoft SQL Server 2012
or higher- Expertise Knowledge in SQL Profiler- Expertise Knowledge
in SQL Server Agent- Expertise Knowledge in Procedural
Language/Structured Query Language (PL/SQL)- Expertise Knowledge in
Oracle and SQL database optimization- Expertise Knowledge in
Procedural Language/Structured Query Language (PL/SQL)- Expertise
Knowledge in Oracle and SQL database optimization- Expertise
Knowledge in performing many related database functions across one
or more teams or clients, including designing, implementing, and
maintaining new databases, backup/recovery, and configuration
management.- Expertise Knowledge in installing database management
systems (DBMS) and provide input for modification of procedures and
documentation used for problem resolution and day-to-day
maintenance.- Expertise Knowledge in identifying, define, and
assess the properties and specifications necessary for the database
management system (DBMS) to meet current and future needs of the
organization.- Define a logical database structure for application
development based on the organizational structure of the company.-
Define and execute procedures for testing and implementing new
applications in the database environment.- Develop and implement
policies and procedures related to data security and
