the Lead Agricultural Product Specialist for JLG Industries, you
will help to advance our initiative to develop, deliver and support
our products in the North American Agricultural Industry. The ideal
individual for this role will have Agricultural Industry
background, relevant product development experience as well as
familiarity with operating agricultural equipment. This role will
work closely with external Customers and internal Sales and Product
Development teams, helping to transform unmet customer and product
application needs into practical product definition
requirements.YOUR IMPACTAssist the Agricultural Sales Channel
Development team as the product expert during Dealer and End User
product demosProvide support on special product inquiries and
product application questions from Dealers and End UsersAnalyze
Agricultural industry and competitive trends to help support
business and product strategyLead Voice of Customer (VOC)
initiatives and work with Application Engineering to coordinate
field product assessmentsEvaluate trends in "Jobs to be Done" and
unmet customer needs that may lead to new product
opportunitiesSupport product development initiatives as a subject
matter expert on Agricultural industry and product insightsDevelop
Product Definitions and Market Assessments for New Product
Development projectsPromote brand and product awareness by
supporting Dealer Events and/or Agricultural Trade ShowsAssist in
development of marketing materials for agricultural products and
solutions, ensuring effective communication of brand promise,
product value, and product features and benefitsThese duties are
not meant to be all-inclusive and other duties may be addedMINIMUM
QUALIFICATIONS:BS in Agriculture Technology, Business, Engineering,
or related field with a minimum 5 years of experience in
Agriculture equipment sales, support and/or development, ORNo
Degree with a minimum of 10 year of experience in Agriculture
equipment sales, support and/or developmentSubstantiated evidence
Essential Duties & Responsibilities can be successfully carried
out.Ability to travel 50% of the time, this is highly dependent on
business cycle and needsSTANDOUT QUALIFICATIONS:Agricultural
industry background and experience operating agricultural
equipmentProfessional tenacity and customer-first attitude,
approaching all challenges with a creative and flexible
mindsetExcellent organizational skills and effective time
managementAbility to develop and maintain strong relationships with
