Job Summary Geisinger Rheumatology is seeking an Advanced Practitioner to join our team at our clinics in Lewistown and State College, Pennsylvania.
Job Duties This provider will be based at Geisinger Lewistown Hospital Rheumatology Clinic 3-4 days per week and Geisinger Patton Forest Clinic in State College 1-2 days per week. This position will perform in collaboration with the physician, diagnostic and therapeutic tasks to assure that patient care is delivered in a caring and efficient manner throughout Geisinger to increase patient satisfaction and patient outcomes. Assists in gathering the data necessary in implementing the therapeutic plan of the physician. Functions as a patient advocate in the medical care system as confidant, advisor, and liaison between patients, families and physicians. Reports clinically to the Director of Rheumatology and administratively to Operations Manager.
