IntroductionAs a Package Consultant at IBM, get ready to tackle
numerous mission-critical company directives. Our team takes on the
challenge of designing, developing and re-engineering highly
complex application components and integrating software packages
using various tools. You will use a mix of consultative skills,
business knowledge, and technical expertise to effectively
integrate packaged technology into our clients' business
environment and achieve business results.Your Role and
ResponsibilitiesThe Peoplesoft Infrastructure Specialist supports
and leads major initiatives and coordinates projects for the HR LOB
team including implementing modules, applying enhancements within
PeopleSoft and managing upgrades of the PeopleSoft HCM 9.2
application.Tasks include:Setup, configure, and maintain all
PeopleSoft application environments and accompanying Oracle
databases in accordance with industry best practicesMonitor,
analyze, tune and maintain Peoplesoft system performanceSupport all
Shared Services environments which includes a complex blend of
Windows and Linux Architecture.Plan and support Patch management
for all tiers of the PeopleSoft Architecture; apply patches to
Oracle database, PeopleSoft, and all 3rd Party SoftwareMonitor
server patching activitiesRequired Technical and Professional
ExpertiseAt least 8 years of experience working with PeopleSoft
HCMAt least 8 years of experience with PeopleSoft Administration,
Implementation, and UpgradesAt least 8 years of experience with
Database Administration, Modeling, Tuning, Backup and RecoveryAt
least 8 years of experience with Elastic search, Kabana and
Integration BrokerAbility to research issues and provide
solutionsExcellent customer relationship management skills
including effective oral and written communicationsSecurity
clearance: MBI- United StatesPreferred Technical and Professional
Expertise
- At least 8 years of experience supporting federal HCM process
improvement initiatives in various parts of the HR life cycle for

compensation range and benefits for this position are based on a
full-time schedule for a full calendar year. The salary will vary
depending on your job-related skills, experience and location. Pay
increment and frequency of pay will be in accordance with
employment classification and applicable laws. For part time roles,
your compensation and benefits will be adjusted to reflect your
hours. Benefits may be pro-rated for those who start working during
