Corporate Communications SpecialistMy client, HighPoint Digital, Inc. is looking for a Corporate Communications Specialist to join our Business Development team. This is an opportunity to join a growing company and contribute to its future success.KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:

  • Possesses outstanding oral and written communications skills including superior writing, grammar, editing and proofreading skills
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple projects and manage time and priorities under pressure
  • Excellent demonstration of computer literacy skills, including but not limited to Microsoft Office and Adobe Suite programs
  • Highly motivated, persuasive, priority-driven and collaborative
  • Consistently demonstrates strong business acumen and judgment
  • Ability to take initiative and work independently, as well as demonstrate strong teamwork capabilitiesJOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
    • Help create a best-in-class internal communications function across the organization to foster employee engagement, influence connectivity and culture, positively impacting all offices
    • Support company social media channels by posting company news, thought leadership and community activities to Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter and Glassdoor and explores/recommends new channels or technologies where possible
    • Support ongoing multi-channel marketing campaigns surrounding HighPoint
    • Maintain and edit website content as well as review and report on website analytics
    • Support content collection, development, and distribution of the company's weekly internal communications newsletter
    • Support ongoing market research projects and intelligence gathering required to support business development
    • Support the creation and development of business development and marketing materials such as case studies, sales overviews, and presentations
    • Maintain the company's values and adhere to the company's style guide
    • Develop communication materials using a variety of tactics (written communications, presentation materials, Zoom and other platforms, town halls, small group meetings, etc.) to articulate key messages
    • Update and maintain content and news on internal corporate SharePoint site
    • Coordinate and plan execution with external vendors including public relations firms
    • Assist with administrative duties (e.g., purchase requests, etc.)
    • Use internal tools as appropriate to maximize the firm's internal communication effectiveness and ensure consistent messaging, branding, imagery and identity
    • Research and read relevant news coverage around company, industry and service lines
    • Additional functions to support marketing, communication, business development as neededEDUCATION AND YEARS OF EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
      • 2-4 years of experience in digital marketing and content writing
      • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or Communications preferredHighPoint is a federal government contractor.
