DescriptionJob Description:Leidos has an opening for a
Communications Lead who will support the delivery of mission
enabling Information Technology Service Management/Integration and
Cybersecurity for a large environment of critical national security
importance. The Communications Lead will support operations for the
National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) Office of the Chief
Information Officer (OCIO).If this sounds like the kind of

successful candidate will provide oversight and leadership to a
talented team of communication security (COMSEC) Custodians,
Managers and Engineers supporting the Controlled Cryptographic
Items (CCI) for the NNSA OCIO enterprise.THE CHALLENGELead the team
responsible for the installation, configuration, and sustainment of
controlled cryptographic hardware.Provide the team with senior
lever experience in maintain the health and wellness of
cryptographic devices currently in operations by minimizing
downtime to users during operational maintenance periods.Maintain
and protect keying and other COMSEC materials and updates keying
material per customer designated timeframes.Document and tracks all
devices and materials across multiple accounts and multiple systems
and demonstrate accountability of all devices and materials during
yearly audits.Provides COMSEC training to teammates and
stakeholdersWHAT SETS YOU APARTBachelor s degree in a related
discipline and 8+ years of prior relevant work experience within
IT/CybersecurityDoD 8570 IAT or IAM Level III
certificationExcellent communication skills with all levels of
stakeholdersAbility to lead and manage a small team of individual
contributors.Train and oversee COMSEC team members on correct
processes and procedures for sustainmentKnowledge of current crypto
devices/methods as well as COMSEC principles and practicesAbility
to implement processes and maintain administrative
documentationKnowledge and basic understanding of network transport
devices that are attached to the encryption devices (examples:
routers, switches, firewalls)Knowledge and basic understanding of
information security practices and devicesStrong collaboration and
customer service skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced,
collaborative team environmentAbility to be flexible and adapt to
changing situationsSelf-starter with ability to work independently
as well as in team environmentsYOU MIGHT ALSO HAVEDOE and/or NNSA
site experience strongly preferredKnowledge of DOE and/or NNSA
security policies and proceduresExperience working in both
Classified and Unclassified operationsExperience working within
Managed Service environmentsKnowledge of and/or experience with SD
205.1Experience in network and network security design,
installation and support of LAN/WAN networks and security
componentsAbility to solve complex engineering problems and
implemented innovative ideas to solve customer challengesPay
Range:Pay Range $94,250.00 - $145,000.00 - $195,750.00The Leidos
pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a
guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered
in extending an offer include (but are not limited to)
responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge,
skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with
market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other
law.
