An established acute care hospital located in southern
Pennsylvania is currently searching for an experienced Critical
Care Nurse Manager to join their award-winning healthcare team.
Known as a local leader in patient care, this acute care
hospital provides a wide range of world-class medical and surgical
services. The Critical Care Nurse Manage will join a regional
health system that combines numerous acute care hospital and
outpatient satellite locations. This system is proud to offer
access to nationally ranked medical services such as heart and
vascular care, emergency and critical care, perioperative services,
behavioral health, oncology, women’s health and birthing services,
and much more.
The Nurse Manager will lead a 10-bed intensive care unit that
provides care to complex and critically ill patients. Under limited
supervision, the Nurse Manager will lead the clinical and
administrative functions of the unit including the personnel
management of roughly 25+ FTE’s, quality assurance and performance
improvement initiatives, and fiscal oversight of the department.
The Nurse Manager is supported by a team of trained critical care
Registered Nurse’s, and Assistant Nurse Manager, and will report to
the service line Nurse Director.
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited school of nursing is
required along with current state nursing licensure. The Nurse
Manager should have at least 3-5 years of prior leadership
experience working in a critical care, trauma, or emergency
setting. Current ACLS and BLS certifications are required.

area commutable from Maryland, West Virginia, and some parts of
