Mortgage Closer One of my top clients are seeking a Mortgage Closer as a Mortgage Closer you will be responsible for reviewing the documentation sent in by the borrowers or third parties in an electronic format, and properly identifying what it is (example - title binder or Verification of Employment) and assigning it to the proper loan number. Location: Winchester, VA Shift: Monday - Friday 11:00am - 8:00pm Job Description Prepares mortgage packages for delivery to settlement companies for purposes of mortgage closing on conventional, Veteran's Administration (VA) and Federal Housing Administration (FHA), mortgage products. Verifies completeness and accuracy of approved credit packages; resolves deficiencies Ensures credit, underwriting, and property conditions of the loan approval have been satisfied prior to closing. Schedules settlement with closing agent, member, seller, and realtor. Furnishes information for title binder to the closing agent and issues instructions to closing agent of documents and conditions required for closing. (e.g., propert location survey, termite inspection report). Determines type of closing mortgage documents to prepare based on loan type (e.g., VA loan, ARM) BasicQualifications High School Diploma or GED Banking experience preferred; administrative experience working with contractors or legal documents required Clerical Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records. Customer and Personal Service - Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction. Computers and Electronics - Knowledge of circuit boards, processors, chips, electronic equipment, and computer hardware and software, including applications and programming.
