Job Description:
We have an immediate opening for an Entry Level Jr. Sourcing
Associate in Frederick Maryland. This is a contract opportunity
approved for 3 months with the potential of being extended. We will
consider entry level and junior level candidates.
Pay Rate: $25.00/Hr.
Big Picture Skills:
Good Communication Skills
Excel proficiency
Documentation
What You'll Be Doing:
Assists on the sourcing of laboratory materials, disposables and
general supplies using approved suppliers in accordance with all
applicable internal policies and procedures.
Ensures goods and services are properly secured with emphasis on
quality, customer service and cost reduction.
Communicates delivery and supplier information to stakeholders.
Communicates potential issues with delivery dates, rejected
material, replacement material, expedited orders and documentation
to the appropriate departments.
Generate reports using excel, SAP and other systems
Perform follow up on orders and expedite supplier deliveries.
Skills and Qualifications:
Microsoft Excel Skills
Outlook and other Microsoft Products
Good Computer skills
What You Need to Bring to the Table:
Ability to learn company procedures relatively quickly.
Preferred skills (not required):
SAP experience is a plus but not necessary
Education:
College Degree ideally in either, Accounting, Finance, Accounting
or Business.
