SUMMARY The level C compression molding set-up mechanic is
responsible for making adjustments, repairs and changeovers to
machinery so that operators can run machines to meet production
goals and quality standards. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS To perform this
job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each

the essential functions. Adhere strictly to NNBC’s Lock out/Tag out
policies Perform Lauterbach machine flat cap set-ups from start to
finish(Phenolic and Urea machines) Perform start up and shut down
of machines Perform machine adjustments-powder, heat, speed, Etc.
Clean out broken well or replace pin when needed Replace fingers
and unthreading wheels when required Change or clean filters as
needed Replace copper airlines as needed Order and return tooling
from MRO dept. per NNBC policy Perform first shot inspection and
notify QC when new order is ready Perform preventive maintenance on
all machines, including oiling moving parts, grease rods, etc.
Ensure that all safety devices/guards are in in place and in
working condition Read schedule and match up material, make sure
set-ups are complete according to schedule Track parts inventory
and assist with organization Assist with operation of machines when
required CMD Mechanics record labor entries and material issue in
SAP and utilize HMI as needed. Notify Appropriate personnel when
repairs exceed level C responsibilities(motor changes, fuse,
electrical, mercury) Other miscellaneous duties as assigned

SKILLS & ABILITIES Education: High School Graduate or General
Education Degree (GED). Experience: 1 years of experience
troubleshooting and machine repair in manufacturing 1 years as a
CMD level A operator Computer Skills: N/A Other Requirements: Must
be LOTO Authorized. Completion of 160 training hours. Successful
completion of 10 various set-up in the Phenolic room. Successful
completion of 5 various set-ups in the Urea room. Molding set-up
Verification form, procedure 12.9.2, must be completed and signed
off on by all parties to be deemed successful and count towards
