TransForce, a leader in commercial driver's license staffing solutions, invites you to join our team as a CDL A or Non-CDL Yard Jockey. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about providing efficient transportation solutions while adhering to strict safety protocols. As a Yard Jockey, you will be responsible for the movement and management of trucks and trailers within our facility premises. A successful candidate will not only support our logistics operations but also uphold our standard of excellence in all tasks performed, contributing directly to the overall success and reliability that TransForce offers to its respected clientele. Safe movement of vehicles within the yard to ensure efficiency in loading and unloading procedures. Inspect trailers and trucks before and after maneuvers to ensure compliance with operational standards. Execute job duties following all safety regulations and guidelines. Maintain communication with warehouse staff and dispatch teams to ensure coordination and logistical requirements. Complete daily logs and reports on vehicle status and yard activities. Excellent maneuvering skills for heavy trucks. Attention to detail and commitment to safety procedures. Strong communication skills for effective interactions with various departments. Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, as needed. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Valid CDL A license is highly preferred. If applying as a non-CDL holder, must have a verified commercial driving experience. Specific training in vehicle operational safety is a plus.
