Job Description Job Description Attorney/Counsel - Commercial Litigation Established (50 Years) Premier Firm Seeking Senior Commercial Attorney for Litigation in Washington, DC An established firm based in Washington, DC with over 50 years in practice is seeking a Senior Commercial Attorney with 10 years of experience to join their team in a hybrid work arrangement . This Attorney will have extensive experience in Commercial Litigation , ideally with a strong focus on real estate and construction disputes , ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations while representing clients in complex litigation and advisory matters. Offer: - Salary range: $180,000-$250,000, contingent on experience - Robust bonus program - Comprehensive health benefits - 401(k) retirement plan - Partner potential Qualifications: - The candidate must be licensed to practice law in the District of Columbia. - The candidate must have at least 10 years of experience in commercial litigation, with significant exposure to real estate and construction-related matters. - The candidate must demonstrate strong analytical, negotiation, and courtroom skills. - The candidate must have excellent written and verbal communication abilities and the capacity to manage complex cases independently. Responsibilities: - The attorney will represent clients in commercial litigation matters, including real estate and construction disputes. - The attorney will provide strategic legal advice and develop litigation strategies tailored to client objectives. - The attorney will draft and review pleadings, motions, and other legal documents with precision and attention to detail. - The attorney will manage cases from inception through resolution, including trial and settlement negotiations. - The attorney will collaborate with internal teams and clients to ensure effective case management and client satisfaction.
