Position Title: Microsoft Project Server
Administrator/Integrator (Mid) 1733 Required Clearance: TS/SCI
Geographic Location: Springfield, VA General Responsibilities:
Compass is looking for an experienced Systems
Administrator/Integration that has supported Windows and Linux
Server Operating systems, including MS Project Server. This
individual will work with system owners and stakeholders to support
and define requirements, review system logs, vulnerability
mitigation, application setup and configuration, audit compliance,
and cloud resource management. They will Primarily Focus on MS
Project Server administration and system integration on AWS and be
responsible for supporting users and maintaining the application,
servers, and database. They will also be responsible for server
maintenance, installing, configuring, troubleshooting, maintaining
hardware/software, and other activities related to system
administration supporting operational tools in a cloud environment.
Examples of work tasks include: Plan, install, configure,
troubleshoot, backup/restore, upgrade and administer/maintain
servers and applications hosted on AWS in a secure environment:
Implement and Configure SSL Certificates for applications and
servers Install, configure, and administer MS Project 2019 Server
or equivalent (i.e., MS SQL, Oracle) AWS System Administration
(standing up virtual server instances, the configuration of
security groups, maintaining security documentation) Required
Experience: Installation, configuration and administration of MS
Project Server Installation, configuration, and maintenance of
servers in a Linux and Windows Environment across multiple servers
Working knowledge of Windows, UNIX, or Linux System administration,
including the command line tools, software installation and
configuration, and system performance monitoring and tuning. COTS
Software installation and configuration to include web-based
applications A working knowledge of Database administration (DB2,
Oracle, MSSQL, etc.) Application server administration, monitoring,
and troubleshooting A working knowledge of LDAP authentication
Experience with Web Server installation and configuration to
include Reverse Proxy Server implementation Experience with
Implementation and Configuration of SSL Certificates for
applications and servers Desired Experience: Installation,
configuration, and administration of MS Project Server (2016 or
2019) [BJDNUC1] Cloud Technology experience: Experience as an AWS
or other cloud Technology System Administrator - deploying,
managing, and operating AWS environments or other cloud
technologies and environments such as AWS VPCs, and regionally
distributed AWS EC2 instances Configure and maintain web
applications across multiple systems Implement Single-Sign-On
Capabilities for all hosted tools and applications across the
Private Cloud environment. Troubleshoot issues across multiple
environments, including but not limited to Db2, / RHEL / Windows /
Network, across the private Cloud environment. Implement and
maintain cloud-based infrastructure and security access policies.
Education/Certification Required: Master’s degree, Bachelor’s
degree plus 2-year experience, Associates degree plus 4 years’
experience, or a minimum of 6 years’ experience, in relevant field
