Director Global Compliance Platform (C3) What you will do Lets do
this. Lets change the world. In this vital role you will be
responsible for the strategic oversight, governance, and
optimization of Amgens global compliance platform (C3). This role
ensures the platform effectively supports the execution of Amgens
global healthcare compliance framework and enables compliant
business operations across regions. The Associate Director leads
platform strategy, drives process improvement and system
optimization, and partners closely with Technology, Compliance, and
business stakeholders to ensure the platform evolves to meet
changing regulatory and operational needs. Serving as the business
product owner for the C3 platform, this role defines platform
capability priorities, translates compliance program requirements
into system functionality, and partners with Technology teams
responsible for the technical delivery of system changes. The role
provides leadership for the global C3 platform team, including a
Senior Manager platform owner and additional team members
supporting platform operations and analytics. The Associate
Director serves as a key liaison between compliance, technology,
and business users to enhance usability, streamline processes, and
advance digital capabilities that improve the effectiveness of the
compliance program. Global Compliance Platform Strategy &
Governance Provide strategic oversight for Amgens global compliance
platform (C3), ensuring the system effectively supports compliance
program requirements and evolving business needs. Define and drive
the platform roadmap in partnership with Technology and compliance
leadership, prioritizing enhancements that improve usability,
scalability, and compliance oversight. Establish and maintain
governance structures, standards, and operating procedures for the
platform, ensuring consistent global use and alignment with
compliance policies and processes. Monitor platform performance,
adoption, and risk indicators to ensure the system continues to
support effective compliance program execution. Serve as the
business product owner for the platform by governing enhancement
intake, prioritization, and capability roadmap development in
partnership with Technology teams responsible for configuration,
development, and deployment. Platform Optimization & Process
Improvement Identify and prioritize opportunities to streamline
compliance workflows, simplify user experience, and improve
operational efficiency within the C3 platform, partnering with
Technology teams to implement approved system enhancements. Lead
cross-functional initiatives to optimize platform processes, reduce
manual work, and enhance system capabilities. Ensure platform
processes remain aligned with evolving regulatory expectations,
compliance policies, and industry practices. Leverage system data
and insights to inform continuous improvement of compliance
processes and program effectiveness. Identify opportunities to
leverage automation, artificial intelligence, and intelligent
agents to streamline workflows, enhance analysis of compliance
data, and enable more proactive identification of potential
compliance risks. Technology Partnership & Digital Capability
Development Partner closely with Technology teams responsible for
system development, maintenance, and enhancement delivery, ensuring
compliance program requirements are translated into scalable
platform capabilities. Translate compliance program strategy and
operational requirements into clear system requirements and
capability priorities for implementation by Technology teams.
Support the evaluation and integration of emerging technologies,
analytics capabilities, and digital tools that strengthen
compliance program oversight and effectiveness. Evaluate and
advance the use of advanced analytics, artificial intelligence, and
agent-based tools to enhance the analysis and usability of C3 data,
enabling more proactive compliance insights, improved decision
support, and a more intuitive user experience for compliance and
business stakeholders. Ensure strong coordination between
compliance program design and technology implementation.
Cross-Functional Collaboration Serve as the primary business owner
and liaison for the C3 platform between WC&BE, Technology, and
global business partners who rely on the platform to execute
compliance processes. Collaborate with Healthcare Compliance,
Legal, Finance, Commercial, and regional compliance teams to ensure
platform capabilities align with operational needs. Liaison between
enterprise platform teams and the program deployment teams,
ensuring successful integration, alignment of data and systems, and
coordination across enterprise technologies including eMDM and
S/4HANA. Represent WC&BE in cross-functional governance forums
and platform-related initiatives. Drive alignment across
stakeholders to ensure consistent and effective platform
utilization globally. Team Leadership & Global Operations Provide
leadership and direction to the global compliance platform team.
Oversee the work of the Senior Manager platform owner and
supporting team members responsible for platform operations,
administration, and user support. Ensure the team effectively
manages platform configuration, issue resolution, enhancement
requests, and user engagement. Develop team capabilities in
platform operations, process improvement, and analytics. Change
Management Develop and execute change management strategy to
support system implementations, enhancements, and global
deployments. Conduct change impact assessments and partner with
business leaders and SMEs to prepare impacted teams for new
processes, tools, and ways of working. Design and deliver targeted
stakeholder communications and engagement plans to drive awareness,
readiness, and adoption. Monitor organizational readiness and user
adoption, identifying risks and implementing mitigation strategies
to support successful deployment outcomes. What we expect of you We

qualifications. Basic Qualifications: Doctorate degree & 3 years of
compliance, technology, or business process experience OR Masters
degree & 5 years of compliance, technology, or business process
experience OR Bachelors degree & 7 years of compliance, technology,
or business process experience OR Associate degree & 12 years of
compliance, technology, or business process experience OR High
school diploma / GED & 14 years of compliance, technology, or
business process experience Preferred Qualifications: Experience
serving as a business product owner or capability lead for
enterprise platforms, working in partnership with technology teams
responsible for system delivery. Experience supporting or managing
compliance systems, governance platforms, or enterprise workflow
tools. Experience working in healthcare compliance, regulated
industries, or pharmaceutical/biotechnology environments. Strong
understanding of compliance program operations and how systems
support policy implementation, monitoring, and risk management.
Demonstrated ability to lead complex cross-functional initiatives
involving compliance, technology, and business stakeholders. What

(excluding Puerto Rico) is posted. Actual salary will vary based on
several factors including but not limited to, relevant skills,
