Job Description:
At ManTech, a leader in providing innovative solutions for
national security, we're seeking a Principal Network Engineer to
oversee complex network design and operation. This pivotal role
supports systems vital to national security missions, ensures
robust network infrastructure and leads high-stakes projects. The
successful candidate will deploy, manage, and optimize networks
that are critical to the functions of federal agencies, ensuring
efficiency and security at the highest levels. Design and implement
complex network solutions for secure and reliable operation.
Oversee the installation, configuration, and management of network
hardware and software. Monitor network performance and ensure
system availability and reliability. Configure networking hardware
including routers, switches, and firewalls. Conduct network
troubleshooting to resolve system issues. Lead teams on project
management tasks and ensure compliance with federal regulations.
Provide technical guidance and support to junior network engineers.
Strong understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP,
LAN/WAN, and wireless technologies. Proficiency in using network
management tools and software, such as SolarWinds, Cisco Prime
Infrastructure, and NetFlow. Experience with network security
practices and tools, including IDS/IPS, Anomaly Detection, and
Firewalls. Capability in scripting and automation using Python,
PowerShell, or similar. Excellent problem-solving skills and the
ability to think analytically. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance
Vision Insurance Life Insurance Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert
(CCIE) or Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) Security
certification. Certified Information Systems Security Professional
(CISSP).
