Job Title: Ultrasound Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: General Ultrasound Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 hours (07:00 - 17:00) Experience: Minimum 3 years preferred License: Pending license acceptable Certifications: ARDMS preferred Must-Have: BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications via the American Heart Association Description: Locals are not accepted. Radius rule is 75 miles. Shift is 4X10 days, 7 am - 7 pm, with blocked weekends (Friday-Monday). First-time travelers are welcome. Occasional call requirements are expected. Candidates must be willing to work weekends. Requests for time off should be provided with submissions. Scrub color is royal blue. Flu vaccine is required; medical exemptions will be considered with proper documentation. Candidates must have a permanent address greater than 100 miles from the facility to apply. Minimum of 2 management or charge references within the past 2 years is required. Current employees working as permanent or PRN are not eligible for travel contracts within the same entity for 2 years after the last date worked. All documentation must be submitted by noon on the Monday prior to the start date. Insufficient documentation may result in a 2-week push of the start date. Modules are non-billable and self-reported. Modules vary by specialty and contribute to 16 hours of non-billable time for onboarding. Modules must be completed prior to the start date.
