ManTech is looking for a driven candidate, who is passionate about the security of our country. We are currently seeking an IT Asset Management Specialist. This candidate will enforce IT Asset procedures and run the hardware forensics lab. This role is an integral part of the forensics team and this position is based in Herndon, VA and is 100% on-site.Primary ResponsibilitiesDevelops and enforces inventory control process to account for property received, shipped, excessed, moved or transferred property and excessed property.Establish and enhance an electronic capability for storing, retrieving, searching, account for, controlling and documenting physical mediaEnsure software licenses are maintained and up to date and comply with license agreements and usage standardsAccountable for procurement of hardware and softwareOversee and maintain the hardware lab ensuring all accountable and non-accountable property is properly tagged and accounted for, maintaining accurate records of loaned assets.Establishes and ensure lab safety protocols are adhered to in the hardware lab.Required ExperienceCurrently have a TS/SCI with polygraph.A minimum of 3 years' experience working in Asset Management.Experience shall include property accounting processes to include the associated forms.Shall possess knowledge of automated inventory control systems.Professional experience shall include ordering, processing, shipping, receiving, packaging, material handling, property accountability and discharge of excess property.Preferred QualificationsPrior experienced within the customer spaceShall have practical experience with processing paperwork related to Government Bill of Lading and the DD1149.Clearance RequirementActive TS/SCI with PolyPhysical RequirementsMust be able to be in a stationary position more than 50% of the timeMust be able to communicate, converse, and exchange information with peers and senior personnelConstantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a computerThe person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situationsThe person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc. For all positions requiring access to technology/software source code that is subject to export control laws, employment with the company is contingent on either verifying U.S.-person status or obtaining any necessary license. -The applicant will be required to answer certain questions for export control purposes, and that information will be reviewed by compliance personnel to ensure compliance with federal law.
