GXM Consulting is seeking a full-time Front-End Developer to join our fast-paced team on-site in the Herndon, VA or Arlington, VA area. Your front-end development experience will help our team make rapid, iterative improvements to interfaces based on user feedback in order to provide the best software product for our clients. This candidate is able to solve complex technical problems without compromising on user interface design and overall user experience. Responsibilities

• Design and execute front-end user interfaces with modern frameworks, especially Angular
• Integrate backend APIs with front-end code
• Interact with a diverse development team and end users, as well as key stakeholders
• Work as part of a fast-paced team to provide outstanding results .
  
  Requirements:

  • MUST BE A US CITIZEN
  • Must be willing to work on-site in Herndon, VA, and/or Arlington, VA
  • 3-4 years demonstrated experience with front-end software development using modern frameworks (Angular strongly preferred)
  • 4 years functioning as a software architect or lead
  • 2 years of unit testing
  • Strong familiarity with Object Oriented Programming (OOP)
  • Experience optimizing web application for performance
  • Experience building custom components and libraries
  • Background in prioritization and multi-tasking in a flexible (but fast-paced) work environment
  • Proficient in critical competencies: verbal and written communication, technical problem solving, client orientation skills, critical thinking, team-oriented, results-oriented, and decision making skills Desired
