Find your future with us.The Boeing Company is looking for a highly motivated cybersecurity professional to join our Enterprise Government Cybersecurity team as a Mid-Level Information System Security Officer (ISSO) based in Herndon, VA. You will rely on your cybersecurity and Information Assurance (IA) background to be a technical leader and support Enterprise activities and Boeing customers throughout multiple classified computing domains. The candidate is responsible for ensuringall Information System Security policies, standards, and directives are enforced tosupport assessment, authorization and continued operationof information systems processing classified information.Position Responsibilities:Contribute to the development and deployment of program information security for assigned systems to meet the program and enterprise requirements, policies, standards, guidelines and proceduresImplement Risk Management Framework (RMF) processes, product development and product maintenance for assigned systemsParticipate in security assessments and auditsPrepare and present technical reports and briefingsContribute to the identification of root causes, the prioritization of threats, and recommends/ implements corrective actionPerform security analysis of operational and development environments, threats, vulnerabilities, and internal interfaces to define and assess compliance with accepted industry and government standardsAssist in the implementation the Authorization and Assessment (A) processes under the Risk Managed Framework (RMF) for new and existing information systemsFacilitate development of Memorandums of Understanding (MOU) andInterconnection Security Agreements (ISA)and support Continuous Monitoring (CONMON)Perform auditing of systems to ensure security posture integrityAssist with risk assessments and investigations, execute appropriate risk mitigation, and participate in incident response activitiesConduct periodic hardware/software inventory assessmentsThis position requires an active U.S. Top Secret Security Clearance (US Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active) Special Program Access or other Government Access Requirements are mandatory for this position. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):Successfully completed a Tier 5 Investigation (T5), formerly known as a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) by the federal government within the last 6 years or have been enrolled in a Continuous Evaluation program such that periodic updates are no longer requiredCurrent IAM Level 1 DoD 8140.01 (previously 8570.01) compliant certification (i.e. CAP, CND, Cloud+, HCISPP, Security+ CE, CISSP, GSLC, CCISO or CISM)1+ years of experience in cybersecurityExperience working in one or a combination of the following domains: NISP, SAP, and/or SCIPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):Bachelor's degree or equivalent work or military experienceCurrently hold certification in good standing to satisfy IAM Level III (CISSP, GSLC or CISM)3+ years of experience in cybersecurity policies and implementation of Risk Management Framework (RMF): e.g. DAAPM, CNSSI 1253, ICD-503, JSIG, or NIST SP 800 seriesExperience as an information system security officer (ISSO) or information system security manager (ISSM) supporting classified programsExperience in assessing and documenting test or analysis data to show cybersecurity complianceExperience in project managementCurrent CAPM (Certified Associate of Project Management) or PMP CertificationExceptional verbal, written, interpersonal and presentation skills, customer relationship building skills, analytical skills and ability to lead/mentor teammatesDemonstrated experience participating in audits conducted by external stakeholdersTypical Education & Experience:Typically 5 or more years' related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.Relocation:Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position.
