Job Description:

We are seeking a Software Developer with a focus on Java based algorithm development to be part of a dynamic team. RESPONSIBILITIES:



Evaluation and ownership of existing frameworks to design, develop and test Algorithms

Apply technical creativity to develop and implement new tools to analyze and improve algorithm performance

Create new algorithms based on a sequence of requirements

Provide support in the areas of data extraction, transformation and load, data mapping, data extraction, analytical support, operational support, database support, and maintenance support of data and associated systems

Apply troubleshooting skills to challenging problems

Develop standards, procedures and guidelines to ensure algorithm performance is consistent or improving

Develop highly scalable application infrastructure that powers data collection and processing services











REQUIREMENTS



BS degree or higher in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or related technical field

2+ years relevant experience:Designing, developing and implementing mathematical programming Algorithms

Working in Windows and Linux OS environments and simple scripting (grep, shell, bash, etc)

With Java or another object-oriented programming language





Solid understanding of programming principles, designs, and patterns, and associated tooling and frameworks

Experience with querying databases (Oracle and/or Mongo)

Excellent analytical, data mining, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Strong collaborator and experienced working in dynamic teams working

Strong written and oral communication skills

Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment

Must be a quick learner and self-motivated
