Job Description:

Second level support with more institutional knowledge and experience.--Provides infrastructure support for Consular Affairs servers, storage platforms, systems, networking equipment, and hosted systems in use at DOS facilities domestically and overseas. Responsible for all problems/incidents are logged into the Ticket Management System and managed in accordance with the Task Order.--

• Provide Windows Server Hosting support, including but not limited to installing, managing, and maintaining Windows Department of State complaint server environments, midrange server platform HW running enterprise mission applications and services, VMWare virtualization clusters hosting of Windows servers--
• Performs system health checks and conduct proactive monitoring and performance management of servers Provide Preventative Maintenance (PM) and Remedial Maintenance (RM) for infrastructure. Perform backups and restores of data. Provide SW support, including but not limited to; operating systems, virtualization, SW authentications, SW utilities, and schedulers. Support storage solutions globally including but not limited to, enterprise block, object and network attached storage, and managing multiple Storage Area Networks (SANs) housing multiple petabytes of data.--
