In this role, you spanwill demonstrate/span the ability to assist with design and implementation of real-time software for DRT hardware./pppspanbPosition Responsibilities:/b/span/pulliWork with a multi-disciplinary team to provide end user solutions/liliDesign, Development, test, document, and maintain the current and next generation Software Defined Radios and Electronic Systems/liliAssist in the architecture, development and integration of software components into fully functional software systems/liliWrite test procedures and document test results to ensure all system and derived requirements are met/liliKnowledge of Linux development procedures, processes, and tools/liliSupport Business Development, Project Management and DRT Customer Basep/li/ulpspanbBasic (Required) Qualifications:/b/span/pullipbThis position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship./b/p/lilipBachelor degree and 2 or more years' experience or a Master's degree with experience./p/liliBachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry. ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard. Should be able to work independently without direct supervision./liliProficient with C/C++ and Java/liliExperience with developing application software using Windows or Linux OS/liliExperience and/or background in SW test/liliFamiliar with Object Oriented Design Methodologies/liliExperience with configuration management tools such as SVN and Git.p/li/ulpspanbDesired Qualifications/b/span/pulliUnderstanding of multi-threaded applications and systems/lili Course work completed: Operating System, Data structure, Algorithms/liliWiFi, Cellular spancommunications/protocols,/span and/or networking/liliExperience with developing applications with socket communications/liliExperience with JavaScript, Angular.js or React.js is a plus/liliExperience with SQL and NoSQL Databases./liliAgile methodology is desirablep/li/ulpspanbTypical Education/Experience/b/span/ppEducation/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience.
