Job Description:
AWS Professional Services is looking for a results-driven
Program Manager to lead space planning operations for a growing
global workforce. In this role, you'll own end-to-end execution —
from seating allocation and office moves to process innovation that
scales across multiple sites and teams. You'll partner closely with
Global Real Estate & Facilities (GREF), Human Resources (HR), and
Recruiting to translate business needs into actionable workspace
strategies. The right candidate dives deep into data, earns trust
across stakeholder groups, and builds repeatable solutions that
outlast any single project. This role is based in Arlington, VA or
New York City and requires regular on-site presence. Key job
responsibilities - Own space planning operations for a global
workforce, including seating allocation, office moves, and
re-stacks across multiple sites - Serve as the primary liaison
between GREF, HR, and Recruiting — translating business
requirements into clear, executable space plans - Build and
maintain detailed project plans with defined milestones, risk
tracking, and regular status updates to stakeholders and leadership
- Identify process gaps, design scalable solutions, and document
them for repeatability across teams and locations - Use data and
utilization metrics to surface trends, inform prioritization, and
drive decisions - Manage cross-functional communications, ensuring
stakeholders have timely, accurate information on project status
and space changes - Apply GREF policies consistently across all
space planning decisions and day-to-day operations - Take on
additional projects as needed, bringing the same rigor and
follow-through to each About the team About AWS Diverse Experiences
