founded in Bethesda, MD in 2013, to bring fresh, made-from-scratch
organic breads, pastries, sweets, and croissant items inspired by
bakeries in France to the DMV area. We have expanded to eight
retail locations, a production bakery, and a thriving wholesale
business. We serve coffee shops, restaurants, hotels, and grocery
stores with fresh products every day, 365 days a year. Our mission

Baguette. Take, for example, the process of making our signature
baguettes: a cold-dough process that produces unique flavors,
homemade levain, and made using state-of-the-art equipment imported
from France. In addition, it takes two days, 11 steps, carefully
selected ingredients, and the skill of a pastry chef to make our
soft and flaky, mouthwateringly tender croissant. Our master baker
leaves nothing to chance and uses the best French techniques in
everything we create for our guests. We are seeking a dedicated and
enthusiastic Baker to join our Baking department at our Fresh
Baguette Germantown production center (19548 Amaranth Drive
Germantown, MD 20874). This full-time, hourly position is perfect
for someone ready to dive into the world of professional baking. As
a Baker, you will play a key role in preparing delicious bread and
baked goods while maintaining the highest food safety and quality
standards. This is an entry-level position. You will receive proper
training from our professional bakers who know the ins and outs of
handcrafting high-quality artisanal organic breads. Maintain tools
and personal hygiene to ensure food safety and quality standards.
Prepare flour and other baking ingredients, either manually or with
the assistance of commercial bakery equipment. Operate commercial
bakery equipment, including ovens, loaders, proofers, and dough
mixers. Work efficiently and quickly to meet production targets and
deadlines. Ensure strict adherence to food safety guidelines and
hygiene practices during all operations. Pay: $17.65 per hour -
$18.00 per hour Health Insurance after 90 days ~ Exciting growth
opportunities 5 days a week including Saturday and Sunday No prior
professional experience required. Capability to comply with food
safety guidelines consistently. High School Diploma or GED Open
availability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends,
mornings, and afternoons Availability to work on Holidays -
Thanksgiving, Christmas, Fourth of July, etc. Reading, writing,
speaking, listening comprehension proficiency in English Production
center and Warehouse Large industrial machines
