This role focuses on adult and geriatric patients with primary or secondary cardiac diagnoses, including post-MI, stable cardiac cath patients, and stroke/TIA patients. The RN will be responsible for telemetry monitoring, specialty drips, IV management, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient outcomes. Key Responsibilities Perform continuous cardiac telemetry monitoring using Hicuity System. Interpret and manage dysrhythmias and respond to rapid response/code team situations. Administer specialty drips including Cardizem (non-titratable), Amiodarone, Heparin, Protonix, Lasix. Manage IV therapy: start and maintain central and peripheral lines. Administer oxygen therapy and manage BiPAP/CPAP/Nasal Cannula. Collaborate with interdisciplinary support teams including IV, PT, respiratory, radiology, pharmacy, and social services. Maintain unit safety protocols, isolation precautions, and patient documentation in EMR systems. Float within the hospital to other units as needed, within scope of practice. Required Qualifications Minimum 1–2 years of relevant experience in Cardiac Telemetry or Medical-Surgical units Active MD state RN license (or compact license) at time of submission Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Must be comfortable floating within hospital units HonorVet Technologies Job ID 31974435.
