Physical Therapist Location: Petersburg, WV Agency: Mindlance Health Pay: $2,326 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position ID: 75832429 Shift: 8H Days Monday-Friday 8 hour days. Primarily outpatient. Cover 2 weekends on call for inpatient. May Description: Unit only submit to 1 position at a time across the entire WVU systemDrivers license address must be outside 50 miles from the facilityPrevious perm candidates must be gone for 2 yearsPrevious travelers there for 1 full year must be gone for 2 yearsIndividual unit requirements listed in pulse apply.Travel teams must be submitted together in 1 emailWe are only permitted to submit 2 candidates per opening, if the position is at max, we will hold on to the submission if a spot opens upDepartment: PT of patients treated per day: 8-10General Certification Requirements (BLS, etc.): BLS, WV Board of Physical Therapy License.Other Certs Required for all PT: NoneCommon diagnosis / Types of : variety due to our facility s rural location. Our most common diagnosis are Geriatric weakness/balance/gait, LBP, s/p TKR and THR, RTC repairs, TSA. We are versatile with a variety of diagnosis to meet the needs of our rural community.Inpatient: weakness due to multiple underlying medical conditions, s/p TKR/THR, discharge planning. Acute Inpatient, and SWING bed inpatient rehab?Primarily Outpatient but will also need to cover acute inpatient and SWING(acute rehab) as needed.Weekend on call for holiday coverage and orthopedic needs (2 on call weekend in 13 weeks) What areas are they required to cover?Outpatient primarily and assist with acute inpatient and SWING as needed.Experience or 'Must have' skills & common job years of experience preferred in outpatient and acute care.PT Manager/Supervisor: Kayla Roby, DPTRehab Aides, PTA's: 3 Rehab Aides, 2 PTAs. This candidate will likely supervise 1 PTA.Shifts & Scheduling (Do you allow self-scheduling? Block scheduling?)Therapists are allowed to assist with patient scheduling however we have a patient scheduler and 3 front office personnel to assist with this process. In outpatient we see 1 patient every 45 min- 1 hour pending therapist preference based on complexity and needs of the patient.PT shift we can be flexible but will be consistent. Our current hours are 7AM to 5:30 PM. We can discuss this further to decide what works best for the candidate and the department. I am ok with some short days and some longer days but I would prefer if this candidate would be willing to work Fridays due to other staff schedules and off days. Full Time needed.Weekend Requirements: Weekend on call 2x ( in 13 weeks period)Holiday Requirements: Holiday on call schedule that correlates with the weekend on call schedule.Scrub Color/Dress Code: Scrubs any color, or business casual.Department specific orientation: Epic EMR training, hospital New Employee OrientationAdditional Notes: We use Epic for both inpatient and outpatient documentation.Notes updated 2/16/2026 MS Cancellation Policy:2 shifts per 13 week contract Charting BSN License to , willing to wait Trauma Level: Care Shift 8 hour days.
