Encompass Health, a national leader in integrated healthcare services, is seeking a dedicated Respiratory Therapy Supervisor to oversee our respiratory therapy department. This position offers the opportunity to work in both facility-based and home-based settings across 42 states, providing expert care and leadership. The ideal candidate will be a highly skilled professional responsible for managing the respiratory care team, ensuring high-quality patient support, and upholding the standards of Encompass Health's services. Oversee the daily operations of the respiratory therapy department Supervise, train, and evaluate respiratory therapy staff Develop and implement respiratory care policies and procedures Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and safety standards Manage patient care plans and coordinate with other healthcare professionals Monitor and maintain inventory of respiratory therapy supplies Assist in the recruitment and retention of staff Lead quality improvement initiatives within the department Strong leadership and organizational skills Expert knowledge of respiratory care procedures and equipment Ability to train and motivate team members Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proficient in healthcare management systems and electronic health records Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Valid state license as a Respiratory Therapist Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred
