Job Description Job Description Description: Position Title: Master Esthetician Department: Esthetic Services Reports to: Owner/Franchisee/Spa Manager Coordinate Positions: Estheticians work closely with a Collaborating Physician, Nurse, Nurse Practitioner, Physician’s Assistant, Body Contour Specialist, Guest Experience Specialists and Spa Manager Subordinate Positions: none Position Summary (Purpose): The Master Esthetician may administer professional facials, chemical peels, HydraFacials, Glo2 Facial treatments, laser treatments, exfoliation treatments and microdermabrasion. The Master Esthetician may provide other spa service recommendations, as well as assist in development and growth of spa sales. Preferred medical spa and laser experience. Must be customer focused and sales driven. Essential Behavioral Characteristics: Ethical Positive attitude Enthusiastic Relationship orientation Team orientation Self-motivated Self-directed Empathetic Creative Tenacious Integrity Honesty Trustworthy Outgoing Detail oriented Problem solver Responsible Essential Skills: Speaks spanish and english Organized Responsive Adaptive and flexible Continuous improvement mentality Effective communication Time management Self-management Qualifications: Possess a thorough knowledge of the skin Have excellent facial massage and skin extraction techniques Possess excellent cleanliness and sanitation skills Legally certified Esthetician within the jurisdiction of employment Knowledge of current esthetic treatment practices, products and trends One year or more experience Comfortable consulting patients regarding skin care needs, techniques and treatment plan Physical/Mental Requirements: Standing for extended periods of time Ability to lift at least 30lbs Exposure to blood and bodily fluids, utilizing proper PPE Continual use of manual dexterity, gross motor skills, bi-manual dexterity and fine motor skills Work Environment:Spa environment Location : Woodbridge , VA Responsibilities: - Perform a variety of esthetic treatments, including facials and body treatments - Provide excellent guest services and ensure a positive experience for clients - Upsell products and services to enhance the client's experience and meet sales goals - Perform esthetic laser treatments for skin rejuvenation - Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and preferences - Assist with front desk duties, such as scheduling appointments and managing client records - Perform hair threading services for clients - Apply knowledge of color theory to provide customized makeup looks - Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and techniques in esthetics, including dermal fillers Skills: - Strong knowledge of sanitation practices to maintain a clean and safe environment - Excellent guest service skills to provide a welcoming and comfortable experience for clients - Proficient in upselling products and services to increase revenue - Experience in performing esthetic laser treatments and skin rejuvenation - Effective communication skills to understand client needs and provide appropriate recommendations - Familiarity with front desk duties, such as scheduling appointments and managing client records - Knowledge of color theory to create customized makeup looks that enhance client features Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
