Job Description Job Description Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1 year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A full-time Physical Therapist (PT) opportunity is available to support an elementary school caseload across multiple schools in Wilmington, DE. This contract position runs from approximately March 9, 2026, through June 16, 2026, with the possibility of summer work from July 7, 2026, to August 6, 2026. The schedule consists of three days per week, working 4 to 5 hours each day. Qualifications and Desired Experience: - Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) with experience in pediatric settings, preferably within schools or healthcare environments - Familiarity with elementary school-aged childrens developmental and physical therapy needs - Ability to manage caseload across multiple locations efficiently - Strong communication skills to collaborate with educators, families, and healthcare professionals - Experience in school-based physical therapy service delivery is a plus Responsibilities: - Provide physical therapy services to elementary students in compliance with individual education plans (IEPs) - Evaluate and treat students to improve mobility, function, and participation in school activities - Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to develop and implement therapy goals - Document progress, maintain records, and comply with school and state regulations - Adjust therapy plans as needed based on student response and collaboration with team members Location: Wilmington, Delaware (multiple elementary schools) Contract Details: - Duration: March 9, 2026 June 16, 2026 - Option for summer work: July 7, 2026 August 6, 2026 - Schedule: 3 days per week, 4-5 hours per day This role offers an engaging opportunity to support childrens physical development in a dynamic school environment.
