Registered Nurse (RN) | Emergency Room (ER) / Trauma Location: York, PA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,910 per week Shift Information: Nights - 4 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/16/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (19:00 - 07:00) Experience: Minimum of 2 years required License: RN License required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS required Must-Have: Level I Trauma experience, Certified in Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC), NIHSS certification preferred Description: Schedule requirements include working night shifts from 7 pm to 7 am. Weekends and holidays are required as needed. Floating to the Emergency Transitional Care Unit may be necessary. Candidates must pass a clinical review to determine fit for the position. The manager will conduct interviews for shortlisted candidates. First-time travelers are not accepted for this role. The maximum request for time off is 7 days. Staffing will cover every third weekend. Holiday shifts are as needed without specific call requirements. Floating is required as needed; rotation to the Emergency Transitional Care Unit may occur. This facility has a total of 74 treatment spaces, along with a 3-bed trauma bay. Some rooms are designated for negative pressure, ensuring appropriate care during critical situations. Daily operations include handling a diverse range of patients, including those needing specialty care such as trauma and behavioral health services. The nursing staff may be responsible for inpatient care in transitional areas, providing essential services as required. Candidates could care for patients with COVID-19. The facility maintains a tobacco- and fragrance-free policy. Expected competencies include managing various emergency medical situations, performing procedural sedation, and monitoring patients with complex needs. Preferred experience includes trauma level assessments and the use of specific charting systems. Additional skills desired include ventilator management and cardiac care, among others. Patient care encompasses a wide age range, including neonates, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Continuous education may be necessary to maintain certifications and improve care delivery.
