qualified ER/Trauma RN in York, Pennsylvania, 17403! Pay
Information $2,128 per week About The Position Job Title:
Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room
Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Mid Hours per Shift: 12 Experience:
Minimum 2 years in a relevant specialty License: Must have state or
multi-state license in hand to be considered Certifications: AHA or
ARC only Must-Have: ACLS, BLS, and PALS required Level I trauma
experience required First-time travelers not accepted Description:
SCHEDULE REQUIREMENTS: Shift from 3 PM to 3 AM. The position
requires experience in a Level I Trauma Center. Candidates will be
reviewed by clinical staff to determine clinical fit. If the
clinical assessment is passed and meets guidelines, candidates will
be sent for the final manager decision. Clinical screens will be
conducted on a case-by-case basis. Manager will conduct interviews
with selected candidates. Rotating every third weekend is required.
Call requirements are not applicable. Holiday shifts may be
required as needed. Floating to other units is expected as
necessary. The emergency department consists of 74 treatment
spaces, including a trauma bay. The department has capabilities for
telemetry monitoring. Two rooms are designed as Negative Pressure
Rooms for infection control. The facility has a designated area for
patients awaiting further evaluation or inpatient placement. Nurses
may be assigned to care for patients who are undergoing lengthy
testing or awaiting consultation. Patient care may involve caring
for COVID patients as necessary. The facility maintains a tobacco
and fragrance-free environment. The organization requires
vaccination against COVID-19. Medical and religious exemptions are
permitted for the required vaccines. Modules for onboarding will
take approximately 5-6 hours to complete before starting the
