About the Role

The HS/PRS Clinical Supervisor will report to the Assistant Program Director - Clinical and will work with the Assistant Director(s), Regional Supervisors, and Caseworkers. The PRS Clinical Supervisor will be responsible for supervising staffings for Level III cases in their assigned region and will serve as an internal expert advisor for all Level I and Level II cases. This position will not have any direct reports.

What You'll Do

The PRS Clinical Supervisor will provide clinical direction to all cases as needed but will have primary responsibility for staffing Level III cases.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Provide clinical direction to project staff and serve as an internal subject-matter-expert creating recommendation and service plans for children with behavioral or mental health issues, victims of trafficking, abuse, or runaways post-release.
  • Identify clinical and other training needs to elevate to the APD-Clinical.
  • Assist the APD-Clinical in developing and providing clinical guidelines and training for staff.
  • Make recommendations for the professional development of Regional Supervisors and Caseworkers.
  • Provide clinical input to HS Assessments, NOCs, PRS Level Changes, and PRS Reports.
  • Duties are performed via a government approved computer system. Employees are required to possess strong computer skills in MS Word and Excel.
  • Perform related duties as assigned, within your scope of practice - management reserves the right to revise these duties as necessary. Minimum Qualifications & Skills
    • Masters' degree or higher in Social Work, psychology, counseling, or related social science discipline where clinical training and experience is a program requirement
    • 2+ years of postgraduate direct service experience
    • Licensure: LPC, LMSW, LCSW or LMFT
    • 2+ years of supervisory experience
    • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, excellent organizational abilities
    • Excellent judgement and leadership capabilities
    • Bilingual (preferred)
    • Must possess strong computer skills in MS Office, including Excel, Word, Teams
    • Ability to type 45 wpm Work Environment

      This is a remote opportunity where occasional travel could be required. Since this is a remote role, must have a dedicated workspace conducive to full videoconferencing (camera and audio) for facilitating webinars and online discussions.

      Work Schedule

      This is a full-time position, but hours could vary depending on needs. May include travel, evenings, and weekends to meet different time zones and projects.

      • Ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance Security Clearance Requirements

        • Residency requirement - 3 consecutive years in the last 5 years. Physical Demands
          • Standing/Walking/Mobility: Must have mobility to attend meetings with other managers and employees.
          • Climbing/Stooping/Kneeling: 10% of the time.
          • Lifting/Pulling/Pushing: 10% of the time.
          • Fingering/Grasping/Feeling: Must be able to write, type and use a telephone system 100% of the time.
          • Sitting: Sitting for prolonged and extended periods of time.
