COVERAGE REQUIREMENTS Hospitalist (HOSP)

• Day shifts
• 1 to 2 weeks per month ongoing
• ASAP start pending credentialing - if not available until January, can consider that tooPOSITION DETAILS Hospitalist (HOSP)
  • Inpatient only
  • Procedures are optional
  • 20 bed open ICU
  • Avg census 16-18 patients
  • 8 day time physicians
  • Provider will need to comfortable responding to codes
  • Credentialing time frame: 60-90 days
  • EMR: EPIC
  • All specialty back up except for cardiothoracic/vascular surgery
  • Board Certified Required or Board Eligible within 5 years of completing training
