Job Description:
UNIT SUMMARY: The Observation unit at Northwest Hospital is a
20-bed unit that cares for a diverse mix of diagnoses. Most
patients stay on this unit for less than 24 hours. Nurses on this
unit specialize in telemetry, stroke, and advanced cardiac life
support (ACLS).JOB SUMMARY: Under direct supervision of a
Registered Nurse, performs specified routine and complex procedures
and selected nursing care activities to assist in the direct and
indirect care of an assigned group of patients.REQUIREMENTS:Formal
working knowledge; equivalent to an Associate's degree (2 years
college); requires knowledge of aspecialized fieldGraduate of an
accredited school of nursingLess than 1 year of experienceAmerican
Heart Association CPR CertificationLocation: LifeBridge Health -
