Our client, a trade association in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a direct-hire PR & Media Relations Manager to join their busy team in Herndon, VA!About You:5+ years of experience in public relations (i.e., strategy development, successful media relations, and engagement).Proven track record of leading successful PR programs.Experience with PR for trade shows is a plus; knowledge of the packaging/processing industry is a plus.Possess exceptional oral/written communication, project/time management, budgeting, and collaboration skills.Ability to handle and maintain the confidentiality of highly sensitive information.The Job:Develop, coordinate, and execute the organization's corporate level media relations strategy and tactics.Develop a strategic approach for trade press.Identify opportunities; write, edit, and submit content (e.g., press releases, bylines, and Q&As).Responsible for the PR strategy and execution for the organization's portfolio of trade shows.This is a direct-hire opportunity that offers a salary $75K-$90K.
