oriented Executive Director/Portfolio Manager in the Herndon, VA
area with strong Customer relationships. At ManTech, you will help

that offer opportunities for advancement.The Department of Justice
(DOJ) Division provides cyber solutions to a wide range of Defense
and Intelligence Community customers. This division consists of a
team of technical leaders that deliver advanced technical solutions
to government organizations. Our customers have high standards, are
technically adept, and use our products daily to support their
mission of protecting national security. Our contributions to our
customer's success are driving our growth.Duties and
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Responsibility for the overall success of multiple
programs/projects. - These responsibilities entail planning and
directing a variety of projects that include large and small-scale
infrastructure support, cyber security, mission operations,
security, analytic, cyber network operations, etc., and new
business pursuits.
- Coordinate with program and corporate components to execute
staffing and financial models across the division's program
portfolio to enable seamless execution.
- Ensure contract compliance and execution across the division's
program portfolio.
- Develop and maintain processes to enable or facilitate
recruiting, retention, employee performance, contract management,
project execution, business development, Division growth, etc.
- Support proposal efforts to win new business within established
Division customer portfolio (DOE/DOJ/DIA).
- Develop and administer a PMO with responsibility to manage,
evaluate opportunities, and coordinate responses to opportunities
released on multiple IDIQ/BPA prime contracts available to
customers within the Divisions area of responsibility. -Coordinate
with ManTech corporate resources to ensure rapid and exceptional
preparation of responses to viable opportunities. Work with account
manager to identify and develop a viable pipeline for current prime
IDIQ contracts.
- Engage with employees and customers to meet ManTech's goals of
being the employer of choice and the contractor of choice.
- Work seamlessly with account managers to identify viable
opportunities for growth and respond to requests for Information,
Requests for Proposals, and Requests for Quotation, etc to grow the
Division portfolio in supported customer environments.
- Interface directly with government Senior Leaders, PM(s),
functional user community, and other contractors.
- Communicate with senior leaders in the company and in the
government and help manage expectations.
- Attend regular program updates with the government.
- Provide weekly updates and of portfolio status to include
ongoing activity and new pursuits and opportunities.
- Communicate the Division's strategy and vision to management,
staff, partners, customers, and stakeholders to promote the
company's reputation.
- Bring positive attention to ManTech, helping our brand and our
reputation by collaborating with peers outside the company and
participating at conferences.
- Participating in customer visits presenting the capabilities of
the Business Unit, Group and Corporation.
- Identify risks, gather information, and recommend solutions as
appropriate.
- Recruit, manage and continuously develop a top-flight team of
technology professionals.
- Provide operational mentorship to program and project
managers.
- Collaborate with PMs and program teams to produce high quality
solutions and program execution.Required Qualifications:
- A bachelor's degree in business or a technical field of
study
- A minimum of (10) ten years of overall experience
- A minimum (10) years of program management experience
- Experience managing program teams for a large organization,
including experience in enterprise technology, infrastructure
operations, or cyber security capabilities and solutions
- Demonstrated comprehensive knowledge of identified customer
set, as well as other services and agencies, and proven experience
achieving program growth
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to travel to customer sites
- Leader with strong interpersonal and relationship
development/management skills to lead, influence and interact with
individuals at all levels of the company
- Comfortable working with senior executives and display ability
to develop relationships at all levels.
- Ability to articulate ideas to both technical and non-technical
audiences.
- Balance between technical skills and communications skills
necessary to interface at all levels of the Company and Government
in an honest and convincing manner
- Demonstrate unquestioned ethics in daily business dealings and
interactionsPreferred Qualifications:
- A Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar
certifications
- Advanced training in leadership or management
- Experience with customers within the Division AOR
(DIA/DOE/DOJ)Security Clearance Requirement:
- Must be a U.S. citizen
- A current Top-Secret clearance with SCI eligibility Physical
Requirements: -
- Must be able to be in a stationary position more than 50% of
the time -
- Must be able to communicate, converse, and exchange information
with peers and senior personnel -
- Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity
machinery, such as a computer -
- The person in this position frequently communicates with
co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering
presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in
these situations -
- The person in this position needs to occasionally move about
inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc. -
For all positions requiring access to technology/software source
code that is subject to export control laws, employment with the
company is contingent on either verifying U.S.-person status or
obtaining any necessary license. -The applicant will be required to
