requestors. -About the Role:The Vice President, Learner Insights
("VLI") will be responsible to drive the organization's unification
and growth of 10 currently existing insights products and services
into one vertical business division, Learner Insights. This
position will report directly into the CEO, until a new Chief
Growth Officer (CGO) is on-boarded and in position to successfully
oversee the division. The decision to move the LI vertical from the
CEO to the CGO will be a CEO decision based on the trajectory of
the vertical at the time. The VLI will be an integral member of
Executive leadership and will manage a team of about 20 resources
that may grow quickly based on the demand for research in the
marketplace.The VLI will oversee a broad array of Learner Insights
oriented products and services and also have direct interaction
with the Clearinghouse Board of Directors and the Research Center
Board of Directors. With a persistent focus on the customer, the
VLI will also drive Clearinghouse mission and innovation in this
vertical through significant industry exposure (presentations,
working directly with funders and attending conferences), -working
with our publications team, our grants team, our Research platform
teams (Student Tracker and Postsecondary Data Partnership (PDP) and
other related research platforms such as Gear-Up). The VLI will be
responsible for creating a 5-year plan and driving the strategy to
acquire new and improved product and service extension.Championing
the Clearinghouse's promises of trust, privacy and security, the
VLI will be a public spokesperson for the organization, and they
expand and grow the National Student Clearinghouse's role as a
trusted partner to the education community. The VLI will deepen
established relationships and build new ones within the education
community. Currently, this position is 100% telework, however, as
our company starts to return to our new normal, a hybrid work
pattern, this position may be required to periodically work on-site
at our office, and the frequency would depend on the
department/division's requirements. Therefore, candidates must
either reside within a reasonable distance to commute to our
office, or be willing to travel to our office in Herndon when
required. Demonstrate the Clearinghouse's competencies, which align

Contribute:
- Provide vision and work collaboratively with the Executive team
to incorporate the Learner Insights business vertical roadmap in
line with the overall NSC strategic roadmap.
- Lead the evolution of learner insights by identifying
opportunities that meet the intersection of supporting our existing
data provider community with value added insight generation.
- Create new innovative insight mechanisms via the establishment
of the learner insights platform that can serve all stakeholders.
These will be designed to leverage the core competencies of the
Clearinghouse and apply new services.
- Establish and oversee strategic product roadmaps, including the
establishment of measurable goals and objectives linked to the
organization's overall mission and vision.
- Build a self-sustaining business vertical to include functional
alignment and oversight of research platforms to include
Postsecondary Data Partnership (PDP) and Student Tracker (ST)
programs, research development, grants and philanthropy,
Clearinghouse publications, and the Clearinghouse Research
Center.
- Oversee the sales organization that supports deployment of the
Learning Insights tools and platforms building on the current
utilization of the K20 stakeholders. Inspire, encourage, enable,
develop, and retain a team of high performing sales
professionals.
- Serve as a key external voice, increasing the value of all the
Clearinghouse offers to its education stakeholders and building on
the organization's established reputation in the sector.
- Provide leadership in the ongoing development of a positive,
productive, and energetic staff and organizational culture.
- Set the direction and implement changes to deepen client
satisfaction with Clearinghouse services in collaboration with the
Clearinghouse's senior leadership.Workforce Management

- Recruit and select the best talent to help optimize skills and
experiences and motivate and manage staff to maximize productivity

- A Master's degree and 15 or more years of related experience
working in management positions in higher education, with ten years
of in a senior management or executive level capacity, executive
level sales or relationship management experience in higher
education.

- Deep experience in the education K to gray research space.
- Experience with:
- The US Dept of Education (FSA, NCES, IES)
- Working with large education-oriented foundations and grant
makers
- Leveraging best practices in project management and Agile
methodology.
- PMP certification or demonstrable experience delivering complex
projects.
- Familiarity with Data Visualization tools, preferably Tableau.
Physical Demands:
- Use of a computer for 8 or more hours a day.
- Use of a copy machine, fax machine, and telephone.
- Frequently required to sit for 7 or more hours per day, when at
HQ may sit in close proximity to others in an open office
environment.
- Occasionally required to use hands and fingers to operate,
handle, and reach.
- Vision abilities include close vision and the ability to adjust
focus.
- Must be flexible to do out-of-town assignments and travel via
car, train, and/or airplane when needed (up to 25%).

believe that the salary range for this position is between -
$270,000 to $300,000 annually and is bonus eligible. Equal
