Title: Director of Business Development/Capture- Federal Civilian (DHS)
Required Clearance: DoD Secret or Top Secret
Location: VA, MD, DC Remote considered for the right candidate
Foxhole Technology is seeking a strong Business Development/Capture Director for our Federal Civilian Cyber Business Unit with a focus on the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) portfolio.
The ideal candidate should have a strong ability to grow net new business, act as a thought leader and have a strong connection in the DHS customer space. You will be responsible for expanding key partnerships, developing capture plans and the management and execution of the full BD life cycle process across multiple simultaneous pursuits and proposals, all delivered via industry best practices and processes. You will be expected to identify gaps and emerging requirements, perform market and economic analysis, conduct business intelligence, and monitor competitor activity and customer trends. You will be responsible for developing a strategic long-term pipeline in our CRM system and developing a strategic growth plan for your DHS accounts for current and new customer account growth areas.

  Grow the long-term pipeline through the Business Development Lifecycle identification and qualification of new business opportunities and align with the strategic priorities. Track business development metrics and share/analyze insights with business leaders to drive BD activity.

  Conduct capture efforts across the DHS marketplace. This includes identifying new opportunities and maintain current work, capture research, build an effective capture capability plan and work through transition from capture to proposal.
  
  
• 
  Manage and maintain relationships within client organizations to identify potential opportunities and acquisition changes or trends.
  
  
• 
  Participate in proposal writing and lead the team through the phases including technical challenges, solutions development, and orals.
  
  
• 
  Work with team, including partners, to facilitate timely delivery of excellent quality work products.
  
  
• 
  Participate in business planning activities to include pipeline and gate reviews, as well as proposal reviews.
  
  
• 
  Drive capture activities from inception to win by leading senior-level engagement with end customers, primes, and partners in collaboration with other Foxhole leaders.

  Influence win strategies for new business pursuits
  
  
• 
  Be present in the market and a representative senior leader of our firm. Use your knowledge of the industry to position Foxhole's point of view in a meaningful and strategic way.

  Identify new services and adjacent market opportunities based on customer requirements.
  
  
• 
  Maintain a strong understanding of Foxhole services, represent their benefits, and functionality to customers.

  A Bachelor's degree is required.
  
  
• 
  3+ years of experience working in Federal Civilian agencies with a focus on DHS
  
  
• 
  5+ years of direct work experience in Business Development and Capture
  
  
• 
  DoD Secret/ Top Secret Clearance
  
  
• 
  Experience driving business development and capture opportunities that include one or more of the following technical capabilities: Cybersecurity, Cloud centric solutions/platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), Agile application development, data management solutions including Big Data and AI/ML, IT modernization, and DevSecOps.

  Experience developing successful capture management plans for large procurements
  
  
• 
  Experience developing proposals in response to federal government RFPs
  
  
• 
  Experience with developing strategic pricing and conducting Price-to-Win analysis
  
  
• 
  Experience working with senior and executive management to align growth strategies and solutions
  
  
• 
  Excellent sales and communication skills with ability to manage appropriate responses to the federal government acquisition process
  
  
• 
  Possess critical thinking skills to gather and analyze information from a variety of sources.
  
  
• 
  Team leadership skills, ability to manage by influence. Strong meeting facilitation skills.
